Madison Park Home
This contemporary home re-uses the original footprint of the Denny Estate Carriage House. The century’s old brick walls and entrance gates allow the new home to blend contextually with its neighbors. Large concrete walls anchor the residence, providing structural support for butterfly roofs that permit light deep into the home. These roofs rest on continuous windows supported by steel columns, allowing the homes floorplan to flow around them. The concrete walls provide structural expression for the great room, which utilizes a 20-foot tall glazing system to allow light and views in.
Expression of materials is honest and true to function.
